This is an excellent 12 knife set. The knives are sharp, and the grips are comfortable. It provides six knives to use in the kitchen and another set of 6 knives for the dining table.  This is a good set for those starting out who plan to do a lot of cooking.

This set of Cold Steel Kitchen Knives is very similar to the previous set. In fact, there is very little difference between the 59KSSET and the 59KSET. The notable exception is in construction and materials. While visually similar, different materials make the handles, and the 59KSET has a distinct advantage in comfort.
